Job summary

INDLEI in Leicestershire is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop its production and warehouse operations. You will drive performance, optimise planning and maintain high quality across the site.

The role offers a competitive salary and a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends, no night shifts, and on-site parking. A leadership role within an established manufacturing and distribution business awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• You will have proven experience in an operational, production or manufacturing management role, with knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing and quality control.
• Experience in cost control and management reporting is desirable.
• Strong leadership and performance management skills are required.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Leading, managing and developing direct reports, driving accountability and performance.
• Ensuring production planning is effective and optimised to meet customer requirements.
• Monitoring production and warehouse performance against KPIs.
• Driving continuous improvement, efficiency and quality across operations.
• Supporting cost control and effective resource management.

• Promoting lean manufacturing and robust quality control processes.
