Job summary

Whistl in Lutterworth is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our fast-paced fulfilment operation across multiple shifts, driving service, quality and cost targets in a busy e-commerce environment. Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage day-to-day warehouse activities from Goods In to Despatch, oversee Shift Managers and Team Leaders, and foster a safety-first culture.

This hands-on role requires a data-driven approach, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Significant Operations or Warehouse Management experience in FMCG/logistics/fulfilment.
• Proven ability to lead large operational teams and manage KPI targets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations across Goods In, Picking, Replenishment, Packing, Returns and Despatch.
• Ensure effective labour planning and resource management to meet productivity targets.
• Manage Shift Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders with coaching and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement operational enhancements.
• Monitor KPIs, service levels and costs to maximise performance and control expenditure.
• Build relationships with customers, carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure health & safety and security procedures.

Are you an experienced warehouse operations leader looking for your next challenge?We're looking for an Operations Manager to join our fast-paced fulfilment operation in Lutterworth. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll lead warehouse operations across multiple shifts, ensuring service, quality, productivity and cost targets are consistently achieved.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee people, processes and resources within a busy e-commerce and fulfilment environment.
