In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure seamless coordination across manufacturing, goods-in, stock control, and dispatch operations, driving efficiency, quality, and alignment with our business objectives. What You’ll Do

Manufacturing Leadership

• Oversee the manufacturing department to achieve production targets, while focusing on quality, efficiency, and cost control.
• Drive strategic production planning and implement solutions to boost productivity and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while fostering cross-departmental collaboration.

Customer Delivery and Planning

• Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products to meet customer expectations.
• Develop robust plans, ensuring the right skills, equipment, and materials are available to deliver results.

Performance and Continuous Improvement

• Set and monitor KPIs for operational efficiency and quality.
• Use data insights to guide decision-making, resource planning, and targeted improvement initiatives.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, motivating teams to innovate and excel.

Labour Planning and Team Development

• Create and maintain workforce plans that align with current and future demand.
• Lead, coach, and develop teams, building flexibility and resilience across critical roles.

Operational Controls and Compliance

• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation (5S principles).
• Oversee site security and safety, addressing building maintenance needs and ensuring operational best practices.
