Job summary

Yattendon School in Horley is seeking an organised, proactive Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of the school. The role leads administrative and operational services, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure a safe, efficient learning environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ experience in operations or senior administration, strong organisational and communication skills, and understands GDPR and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing administrative support services, including reception, finance and premises.

  • Overseeing payroll administration, cover arrangements and aspects of HR administration.
  • Managing the Single Central Record.
  • Working with IT providers to ensure technology supports teaching and learning.
  • Acting as a key contact for external agencies and community stakeholders.
  • Coordinating school lettings and events to maximise community engagement and income generation.
  • Supporting the strategic and operational objectives of the school and wider Trust.
