Job summary

Thomas & Tate is seeking a field-based operations leader to manage a portfolio of workplace locations across London and the Home Counties. You will coach Location Managers, uphold standards, and grow client partnerships.

The role focuses on driving commercial performance, balancing purchasing and labour, and maintaining 5-star EHO ratings across sites. Travel within the region is required; salary is based on experience and includes a car allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hospitality operations across multiple locations.
• Strong budget and purchasing management skills.
• Food Hygiene Level 3 (or higher) required.
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational leadership qualities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop teams across locations to meet standards.
• Own budgets for your portfolio, balancing purchasing and labour.
• Build strong client relationships, including contract reviews and renewals.
• Maintain audit readiness and protect high EHO ratings.
• Lead new location mobilisations and support new opportunities.
• Support academies for Chef, Barista, People and Core Compliance.

About the role

You will lead a portfolio of our workplace locations, reporting to our Operations Director. You will coach our Location Managers, protect our standards at every location and grow each client partnership.

What you will do

• Lead, coach and develop remarkable teams who exceed Thomas & Tate standards
• Own the budgets for your portfolio, balancing purchasing and labour to deliver quality
• Build strong client partnerships, including contract reviews and renewals
• Keep every location audit ready and protect our 5-star EHO ratings
• Lead new location mobilisations and support new business opportunities
• Help our team grow through our Chef, Barista, People and Core Compliance Academies.

What you will bring

• A successful, progressive background in multi-location hospitality operations
• Strong commercial and budget management skills
• Food Hygiene and Safety Level 3 or above
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to inspire others in the pursuit of amazing food and service
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
