We're looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Glasgow. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, the individual is responsible for all aspects of running a busy, complex operation and managing the day-to-day relationships with the customer and other stakeholders to meet all key performance indicators and exceed customer expectations.
Successful candidates will require the ability to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.

Day to Day Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to all team members; act as escalation point for Team Leaders
- Manage transport and O license accountability for the site
- Oversee Facilities Management for the site
- Deliver targets within the budget
- Work effectively with stakeholders with varying priorities
- Keep senior managers informed of issues and escalate serious matters
- Develop and maintain a positive, engaged workforce
- Ensure team development to meet operational needs
- Ensure compliance with all Wincanton policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in a similar role
- Organized, proactive, positive, flexible attitude
- Strong leadership skills and visibility in operations
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Project, PowerPoint
- Ability to train and coach team members
- High standards of Health and Safety
