Job summary

James Latham is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a busy warehouse and transport team in a modern environment. You will drive customer service excellence, manage training and health & safety across the site, and coordinate maintenance of equipment and infrastructure.

Job description

As Operations Manager at Lathams Leicesteryou will run an efficient warehouse and transport team to achieve a high level of customer service. You will be responsible for managing a large team including organising and delivering training. Health and safety is a priority and you will be required to ensure the team adhere to company policies as well as liaise with our Health and Safety Manager to consider any improvements.

You will be responsible for arranging and reviewing maintenance of all capital equipment and site infrastructure (combis, racks, shutters, concrete, etc. and utilities) as well as ensuring compliance with maintenance regimes, repairs and ‘cosmetic’ issues of lorries.

You will be highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic with prior experience working as an Operations Manager or similar. You will need excellent people management skills and enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to manage your own workload.
