Job summary

Navartis is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a leading marine and offshore engineering client delivering complex subsea cable installation and repair projects across the UK and North West Europe.

In this senior role you will lead planning, coordination and delivery, working with vessel crews, offshore teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality project execution, while developing operational strategy and mentoring offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience delivering offshore construction or subsea cable projects.
• Strong project management experience in subsea cable installation or marine infrastructure.
• Excellent understanding of offshore vessel operations and marine logistics.
• Strong commercial awareness and operational leadership experience.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and North West Europe.

• Lead offshore subsea cable installation and repair projects in UK and North Europe.
• Coordinate vessel operations, offshore personnel and subcontractors.
• Manage project programmes, operational performance and resource planning.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination and successful delivery of complex offshore subsea cable installation and repair projects across the UK and North West Europe.

Working closely with vessel crews, offshore teams, subcontractors and clients, you will take ownership of project delivery, operational performance and technical governance, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

This is a senior leadership position offering the opportunity to influence operational strategy while remaining closely involved in technically challenging offshore engineering projects.

Experience required for this Operations Manager role are:

• Degree qualified in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years' experience delivering offshore construction, marine operations or subsea cable projects
• Strong project management experience within subsea cable installation, offshore wind or marine infrastructure
• Excellent understanding of offshore vessel operations and marine logistics
• Strong commercial awareness and operational leadership experience
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and North West Europe
