Job summary

CraigTech Solutions. The Roads & Highways Recruitment Specialists in Cambridgeshire/South Lincolnshire region seeks an Operations Manager with experience in Highway Maintenance, Traffic Management, or Road Barrier (VRS) to join a national contractor.

You will manage a busy depot, plan and coordinate resources for up to 4 gangs, and work with management, supply chain partners and clients to pre‑plan activities while ensuring safe, efficient delivery to high standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or management experience in the UK highway sector.
• Experience in highway maintenance, road construction, traffic management, surfacing or barrier/VRS.

Responsibilities

• Pre-plan upcoming activities with internal management, supply chain partners and clients.

Job description

We have an opportunity for an Operations Manager with experience in Highway Maintenance, Traffic Management (TM) or Road Barrier (VRS) to join a national contractor, based in the Cambridgeshire / South Lincolnshire region.

The successful candidate will manage a busy depot, taking control of all planning, programming and resource mangement for up to 4 gangs.

You will be working closely with internal management, supply chain partners and clients to pre‑plan upcoming activities and organise assigned workstreams, ensuring all operations are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
