Job summary

VolkerHighways in Wokingham is seeking an Operative to join our Traffic Management team. You will install, maintain and remove traffic management setups in line with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings, working under supervision and demonstrating a strong safety and quality mindset.

Key requirements include experience in traffic management and highways maintenance, a valid CSCS card and NHSS 12D/M1-M6 qualifications, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in traffic management operations.
• Previous experience in highways maintenance.
• Holder of valid CSCS card.
• Holder of NHSS 12D M1-M6 qualifications (essential).
• Holder of LNHSS 12A/B (desirable).
• Holder of full valid UK driving licence.
• Holder of valid First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will work to instruction from supervisors, ensuring all traffic management is installed, maintained and removed in accordance with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings, whilst demonstrating a Safety and Quality approach that is without compromise.
