Handley James is recruiting an Operations Manager for a division of our UK client. You will report to the UK MD and own the end-to-end operations, including production, maintenance, safety and service, to drive growth and operational efficiency.

The role requires an experienced operations professional with track record in process-based manufacturing and multi-disciplinary team leadership. Degree qualification is preferred, with a strong people and process focus.

• Experience in process-based manufacturing such as chemical, food, plastics, industrial building products or water treatment.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams including production, maintenance, supply chain and safety.
• Degree qualification preferred; strong people and process leadership.

We have been retained by our client to recruit an Operations Manager for a division of their UK business. As a result of a revised growth strategy, our client is now looking for an Operations Manager to drive the growth strategy for this division.

This role will report into the UK MD and will be responsible for driving the operational efficiency of the division. You will take full responsibility for the end-to-end operations which will include production, maintenance, safety and service.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading a multidisciplined team
• Operational performance
• Maintenance effectiveness
• Cost Management

An experienced Operations professional, you will have experience in process-based manufacturing; chemical, food, plastic, industrial building products or water treatment would be ideal. You will be experienced in leading multi disciplined teams including production, maintenance, supply chain and safety functions. You will be quality focussed, improvement led and proven in managing multiple priorities. A confident leader, you will be both people and process led. Ideally you will be degree qualified.

The company will offer up to £70,000 basic plus car benefit.
