We're looking for an Operations Manager to join our start-up client in the North West. You will support the Founder and have full ownership of all operations responsibilities.

Key Skills and Responsibilities
HMRC, Government Gateway, & Equity Scheme Management:
  • Managing access to the HMRC government gateway and related tasks.
  • Registering and managing the EMI (Enterprise Management Incentives) scheme.
  • Managing the monthly payroll.
  • Corresponding with accountants.
  • Discussing cash flow forecasts and business performance with the Founder.
Investor & Board Relations:
  • Primary contact for investors, responding to queries and requests.
  • Preparing board materials such as updates and packs, and managing board communications.
  • Creating quarterly investor reports with key financial and user metrics.
Human Resources & Legal Compliance:
  • Managing employee pensions and ensuring compliance with UK and HMRC laws.
  • Implementing HR policies and staff administrative procedures.
  • Supporting hiring processes, including applications, interviews, and job specifications.
Employee Onboarding & Support (Non-Technical):
  • Managing non-technical onboarding tasks (setting up accounts).
  • Creating employment contracts.
  • Handling employee requests related to time off, general queries, and equipment.
