Job summary

Veolia is seeking a transport operations professional in the United Kingdom for a 6-month fixed-term contract with a focus on operational leadership, fleet management and financial oversight.

You will manage operatives, ensure compliance, and use Power BI for routine reviews while driving service excellence. A Transport CPC is essential, with full-time hours and a 40-hour workweek.

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for day-to-day management of operatives, staff and site based support to ensure site capability/capacity is maximised.
• Compliance with Veolia requirements & Fleet requirements through audit.
• Using Power BI for daily / weekly / monthly reviews.
• Managing people & assets to deliver efficient & profitable service.
• Be the nominated Transport Manager with overall responsibility for Fleet management and compliance.
• Drive efficiencies within the job role to maximise profit.
• Utilise data to improve operational performance.
• Creating a customer excellence approach & culture.
• Delivery of a first time collection culture.
• Managing people & assets to deliver / exceed service expectations.

What we're looking for:
