Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking a seasoned Production & Operations Leader for our UK manufacturing site. You will drive safety, quality, cost and staffing metrics while building capability across teams.

Lead TPM-based continuous improvement, manage budgeting inputs, and collaborate with R&D and Commercial to align operations with strategic goals. Candidates with ERP (SAP) experience and strong change leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

Significant experience leading production/operations in a manufacturing plant.
Experience managing multiple teams with direct and indirect reports.
Knowledge of TPM environments and manufacturing methods.
ERP knowledge (SAP preferred) and GMP knowledge preferred.
Ability to drive change initiatives and align processes with strategy.
Understanding of financial levers: budgeting, cost centers, IRR, yield, waste.
Demonstrated passion for teaching and developing people.
Certification in production/inventory fields preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and deploy objectives, goals, strategies and measures for safety, quality, reliability, cost, service and engagement.
Build and support strategic agenda including capital, loss analysis and workforce planning.
Drive a culture of ownership and empowerment with learning and continuous improvement.
Leverage TPM methods and tools to sustain continuous improvement.
Collaborate with R&D and Commercial to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Own operating budget and contribute to capital budgeting.
Ensure effective workforce planning through organizational design and talent processes.
Translate information into actionable priorities.
