Responsibilities include:

• Organise and supervise the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations
• Manage the overall efficient operation of the unit, ensuring quality service
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and service to meet standards
• Utilize resources effectively, including stock, team members, and assets

Key qualities and responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance and management through your team
• Previous contract catering experience
• Effective communication, motivation, and guidance of management and staff
• Responsibility for food safety and health & safety procedures
• Regular communication with the client
• Implement action plans from customer feedback
• Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group advocate
• Manage stakeholders effectively
• Ensure hospitality standards and seek feedback for improvement
• Identify opportunities for service enhancement and innovation
• Operate within budget, monitor trends, and take corrective actions as needed
• Deliver customer requirements to expectations
