Job summary

Fire Doors Rite Ltd is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations from Basingstoke with UK travel. You will oversee three project managers, an estimator and an operations coordinator, driving delivery of fire door installation, maintenance and remedial work while maintaining safety, quality and cost controls.

You will shape programmes of work, manage resources and develop the team as the business grows toward broader national coverage and potential leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Must have proven track record managing multiple projects and teams across locations.
• Strong understanding of fire door operations, installation, maintenance and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication with customers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers in delivering fire door projects from order to handover.
• Build programmes of work and align labour, materials and site access.
• Help Project Managers resolve issues early and keep customers informed of changes.
• Ensure surveys and replacement parts are ready when needed on site.
• Oversee safety, quality and compliance records (RAMS, site docs, inspections, sign-off).
• Monitor project costs, variations and productivity.
• Develop the team and help shape processes as the business grows.
