OVERVIEW

The Operations Lead is a key part of the store leadership team, responsible for driving profitability and efficiency through coaching and operational management. The role involves working closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to delegate tasks, provide feedback, and ensure optimal store performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and collaborate with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
  • Manage shipment, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
  • Maintain visual standards for the sales floor.
  • Support a safe and efficient work environment through stockroom standards and processes.

Business Leadership

  • Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager to oversee reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
  • Use metrics to support strategic decisions and drive business growth.
  • Assess and respond to business needs dynamically on the retail floor.

People Leadership

  • Lead by example, inspiring staff in daily operations and guest experience.
  • Oversee recruitment and development of Operations Associates.
  • Evaluate team members and provide ongoing feedback for growth.

Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead to ensure cross-functional training and effective execution of initiatives.
  • Implement company directives and projects in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.

Schedule

The role is full-time, requiring 32-40 hours per week, including opening, closing, and weekend shifts. Availability during the holiday season, including Black Friday and early January, is required.
