Job summary

Practice Plus Group in North West London is seeking an Operations Lead – Out of Hours on a fixed-term secondment through to September 2027. You will assume day-to-day ownership of OOH services across Primary Care Centers and Home Visiting, guiding teams to deliver safe, efficient care.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will shape performance, staff engagement and service development, addressing operational challenges and driving continuous improvement while modelling our values.

About The Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Operations Lead – Out of Hours (OOH) on a secondment basis through to the end of September 2027. This position is ideal for someone looking to step into a senior operational leadership role and broaden their experience within a dynamic urgent care environment. Based in North West London, you will take day‑to‑day ownership of Out‑of‑Hours services, including Primary Care Centers and Home Visiting. You will play a key role in ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with national and local performance standards. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will lead OOH operational teams, acting as a visible and supportive leader. You will drive performance, staff engagement and continuous improvement, ensuring teams are equipped to deliver high‑quality care to patients. This is a hands‑on and varied role where you will manage operational challenges, support service development and ensure the highest standards of care for patients, partners and stakeholders, all while role‑modelling organisational values. This role is a fixed term contract until September 2027.
