Domo Tactical Communications (DTC), part of the Codan Group, offers an industrial placement year in its operations division at Whiteley, UK. You will gain exposure to manufacturing processes within a highly technical industry and contribute to projects across purchasing, planning, and production.

The placement is designed to fit your objective and business needs, with flexible hours and a focus on development and hands-on experience. Start date anticipated for September 2027.

Competenze

• Must have at least 2 A levels at grade B or above in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics related subjects.
• On track for a predicted 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.

Mansioni

• Gain exposure to manufacturing operations within a highly technical industry.
• Work on business process improvement projects in purchasing, planning, materials management, manufacturing engineering, test engineering and manufacturing production.

What will you be doing?

Within your industrial placement year, you will gain exposure to aspects of manufacturing operations within a highly technical industry.

You will spend time over the course of your placement working on business process improvement projects within some of the following disciplines: purchasing, planning, materials management, manufacturing engineering, test engineering and manufacturing production.

The work undertaken will be tailored to meet the objective of your placement and the needs of the business.

What are we looking for?

DTC are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and competent undergraduate to work within our Operations function over the course of your Industrial Placement.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who can display many of the following attributes:

• Good work ethic
• Quick learner
• Analytical mindset

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 A levels at grade B or above in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics related subjects.
• On track for a predicted 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline

The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Anticipated start date: September 2027
