Job summary

Oscar Mayer Group UK is seeking an Operations Finance Analyst on site at Erith to support manufacturing and operational leadership with financial insights and performance improvement. You will work with the Finance Business Partner to drive cost control and profitability across the site.

You will prepare daily, weekly and monthly manufacturing performance reports, track KPIs such as yield, waste and material variances, and assist with month-end close, budgeting and forecasts, translating

Operations Finance Analyst - on site - Erith

Role Overview:

The Operations Finance Analyst plays a key role in supporting the manufacturing and operational leadership within the business. The role works with the Finance Business Partner to drive operational performance, cost control, profitability, and continuous improvement across the site.

The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to deliver accurate financial insights, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and support decision-making processes that enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly and monthly manufacturing performance reports
• Track and report key operational KPIs, including:
• Yield and waste
• Material usage variances
• Analyse manufacturing costs and investigate variances against budget, forecast, and standard costs.
• Provide insightful commentary on financial and operational performance.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain and review standard costing models.
• Monitor and analyse material, labour, and overhead cost variances.
• Support product costing and profitability analysis.
• Assist with annual cost roll processes and cost updates.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
