Job summary

Michael Page in the UK is seeking a finance professional to deliver accurate financial insights, support decision-making and drive efficiency improvements across manufacturing operations.

You will prepare and analyse daily, weekly and monthly performance reports, track KPIs (labour efficiency, yield and waste, material usage variances) and investigate cost variances against budget, forecast and standard costs.

Qualifications

• Part qualified or full professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
• Proven experience in financial management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse daily, weekly and monthly manufacturing performance reports.

• Analyse manufacturing costs and investigate variances against budget, forecast and standard costs.
• Provide insightful commentary on financial and operational performance.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals, journals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain and review standard costing models.
• Monitor and analyse material, labour, and overhead cost variances.
• Support product costing and profitability analysis.
• Assist with annual cost roll processes and cost updates.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
