Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a Finance Analyst to turn numbers into actionable insights and support better business decisions across a fast-paced food manufacturing operation.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing, product costing, forecasting and commercial finance, collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial teams to understand performance and drive improvement.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Studying or aspiring to study ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • The confidence to work with colleagues across different functions.
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Producing financial reports, KPIs and performance insights that support decision making.
  • Assisting monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Analyzing costs, variances and identifying trends.
  • Partnering with operational teams to understand manufacturing and logistics performance.
  • Supporting product costing and new product development initiatives.
  • Improving reporting processes, systems and controls.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders and providing financial support and challenge.

Job Description

Are you naturally curious, analytical and eager to build a career in finance? We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team and play a key role in helping us understand performance, identify opportunities, and support better business decisions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across manufacturing, product costing, logistics, forecasting and commercial finance within a fast-paced food manufacturing business. You'll work closely with teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Commercial, giving you a broad understanding of how finance supports every part of the business.

What you'll be doing

You'll Ideally Have
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
