Job summary

Glassworks London is seeking an experienced Operations & Facilities Manager to keep UK stores, warehouse and office running smoothly.

You will own facilities coordination, site standards, device management and the delivery of physical projects from planning through to completion. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations, you will lead repairs, contractor management, and on-site IT readiness while ensuring compliance and timely updates across multiple sites in London and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, operations, retail/office operations, or property coordination.
• Experience in managing contractors, repairs, quotes and maintenance follow-through.
• Experience coordinating physical projects such as openings, refurbishments, moves or site changes.
• Experience working across multiple physical sites.
• Experience conducting inspections, standards checks, audits or site visits.
• Ability to resolve issues affecting trade, operations, safety, equipment or team readiness.
• Experience coordinating device/equipment or physical IT with external providers.
• Demonstrated ability to track actions and evidence-based follow-through.
• You are practical, highly organized, proactive with suppliers, and able to inspect reality on-site.

Responsibilities

• Facilities coordination across stores, warehouse and office, including repairs, maintenance, contractor management and follow-through.
• Triage facilities issues, involving landlord, specialists or cross-site coordination for larger projects.
• Source contractors and suppliers, compare quotes and ensure proper completion.
• Conduct regular physical site checks for cleanliness, lighting, equipment and safety readiness.
• Manage physical projects including openings, refurbishments, relocations and store/network rollouts.
• Coordinate builders, tradespeople and specialist contractors with timelines and access.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate approved designs into on-site work.
• Oversee UK physical IT operations: devices, POS, printers, scanners and connectivity.
• Maintain device inventory and manage issuance/recovery per processes.
• Keep site evidence: photos, checklists, action logs and closure confirmations.
• Implement SOPs and standards on-site, with training and checks as needed.
• Support Finance with periodic checks of supplies controls and cash-handling evidence.
• Provide KPI/status reporting on facilities/projects, budgets and timelines.
