Job summary

STS Marine Solutions is seeking an Operations Coordinator to plan and coordinate equipment, support vessels and personnel for ship-to-ship operations worldwide.

You will serve as the link between clients, marine assets and operations teams, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely execution while upholding company standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel of essential personnel to/from operations (Mooring Masters).
• Track and import data in a scheduling tool to ensure proper invoicing.
• Assist in coordination of approvals with customers.
• Communicate weather conditions and potential delays to customers.
• Update and maintain customer and vessel operation files.
• Rotate with the operations team to cover weekend activities.
• Plan and run client meetings and marketing events.
• Attend industry seminars and represent the company at events.
• Provide support to technical and operations teams by coordinating assets and planning.
• Assist in invoicing of operations.
• Develop and maintain business relationships with customers, owners, operators and brokers.

As a key member of the Operations team, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for the efficient planning and coordination of equipment, support vessels and personnel to ensure the safe, compliant and timely execution of ship-to-ship operations worldwide. The role serves as a vital link between clients, marine assets and operational teams, delivering exceptional service while consistently meeting STS Marine Solutions' high standards and client expectations.

Direct Responsibilities

• Treats HSE and the company values as the number one priority.
• Coordinate travel of essential personnel to/from operations (Mooring Masters).
• Track and import data in a commercial scheduling tool necessary to ensure proper and expedient invoicing.
• Assist in coordination of MM approvals with customers where required.
• Communicate with customers regarding weather conditions and convey possible delays.
• Update and maintain customer and vessel operational files.
• Rotate with the operations team members to allow weekend coverage of all operational activities.
• Plan and execute client meetings and marketing events.
• Attend industry seminars and events as required.
• Perform other operational duties as required.
• Aid in the invoicing of operations.
• In cooperation with the marketing team this position will help develop and maintain business relationships with existing customers, potential customers, owners, operators, and brokers. This position will also represent the company at industry functions and seminars.
• This position will provide support to the technical and operations teams by coordinating and allocating assets, developing forward planning, and disseminating operational information internally and externally to the customer.

Essentials

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Have prior STS experience in either operations or projects.
• Reside or relocate to Sunderland.
