Job summary

HIVED, based in London, is seeking an on-site Driver Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day driver team operations and drive high performance. This role focuses on maintaining driver satisfaction, compliance, and strong stakeholder collaboration, on a 4 days on-3 days off shift pattern.

The position is not currently active, but we are collecting applications to move quickly when it opens. A hands-on leader with UK driving credentials is ideal.

Role Overview

At HIVED, the (Driver) Operations Coordinator is the unique point of contact with drivers. This role is integral to ensuring HIVED maintains drivers at the centre of our operation whilst maintaining high delivery performance & quality. This is an on-site role embedded in the day-to-day operations the shifts for this role are a 4 days on- 3 days off shift pattern.

Heads up: this is a preemptive posting. We’re not hiring for this role right now, but expect to open it soon as we keep growing. We’re collecting applications early so we can move fast when it does.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of an assigned driver team.

What you’ll be accountable for

1. Achieving daily business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

2. Comprehensive driver support, including scheduling, process implementation, and addressing on-the-road queries.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking an engaging and approachable (Driver) Operations Coordinator who excels at building and maintaining positive relationships with drivers and stakeholders, with strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated stakeholder management abilities.

• 1-3 years of related working experience with logistics/last-mile preference.

• Possesses a hands-on approach to managing and developing team members.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Capable of rapid decision-making and efficient problem resolution.

• Ability to leverage available resources effectively and efficiently.

• Experience leveraging data for effective decision-making.

• Demonstrates exceptional resilience and professionalism when confronted with difficult situations, maintaining a positive and productive attitude.

• Valid UK driving license required.
