Job summary

JADE Windows & Doors, Batley, is seeking an organised Operations Coordinator to support the flow of aluminium and uPVC orders from order through production. You will coordinate factory orders, monitor progress, and work with the Operations Manager to resolve delays and optimise production flow.

Key tasks include preparing drawings in Evolution and V6 for approvals, maintaining production data and KPI reporting, and liaising with contractors, suppliers and customers to secure timely delivery of

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating production or orders in window and door manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings used in commercial projects.
• Experience with window/door manufacturing, especially for commercial projects.
• Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Comfort working with KPIs, spreadsheets and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate & monitor aluminium and uPVC orders through production.
• Identify delays and opportunities to improve production flow with the Ops Manager.
• Track orders against deadlines and specifications, escalate delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate operational data, costing information and production records.
• Prepare and manage order profiles, glazing materials and identify shortages or risks.
• Produce KPI reports covering productivity, efficiency, quality and delivery.
• Liaise with customers for drawing approval and revisions; coordinate with suppliers and managers.

About The Role

We are looking for an organised and commercially aware Operations Coordinator.

You will coordinate factory orders and support the processing of commercial window and door projects, from initial order through to drawing approval and production:

• Factory coordination
• Commercial project management / order processing

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate & monitor aluminium and uPVC orders through the production process.
• Identify delays and opportunities to improve production flow, working with the Operations Manager and factory team.
• Track orders against agreed deadlines and specifications, escalating delays or discrepancies promptly
• Maintain accurate operational systems, data, product costing information and production records.
• Order profile, glazing and associated materials and identify shortages or supply risks.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports covering productivity, efficiency, quality and delivery.
• Analyse performance trends, recurring issues, downtime, waste and output.
• Review and understand architectural drawings, for window and door commercial projects
• Prepare drawings in Evolution and V6 for customer approval, based on agreed project specifications.” Only use this if creating those drawings is genuinely part of the job
• Liaise with customers to obtain drawing approval & deal with queries & drawing revisions
• Liaise with contracts managers, project managers, architects & suppliers
• Maintain effective communication between office, production and installation managers.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience coordinating production or orders in window and door manufacturing, with the ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience within window and door manufacturing, especially in commercial projects
• Ability to understand technical drawings and coordinate detailed customer orders.
• Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Confidence working with production data, KPIs, spreadsheets and operational systems.
• Commercial awareness and a focus on efficiency, waste reduction and cost control.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
• A practical, proactive approach to resolving delays and workflow issues.
