Job summary

JADE Windows & Doors, part of Woodlands Home & Garden Group, is seeking an experienced Window & Door Fabricator to join our Batley manufacturing team.

You will fabricate aluminium and uPVC windows and doors, read drawings, measure, cut, assemble components, install glazing and hardware, and help drive quality and continuous improvement in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors.
• Proven experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors.
• Produces work to a consistently high standard.
• Reliable, punctual and safety focused.
• Able to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture aluminium and uPVC windows and doors.
• Read and follow production drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, prepare and assemble components.
• Fit glazing, hardware and other components.
• Operate fabrication machinery safely.
• Complete quality checks throughout production.
• Identify and report defects, material issues or equipment faults.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work with the wider team to meet production requirements.
• Support continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.

WINDOW & DOOR FABRICATOR (WF17)

Location: JADE Windows & Doors, 622 Bradford Road, Batley, WF17 8HF

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday, 6:00am to 12:00pm

Pay: Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Start date: ASAP

About The Role

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Manufacturing aluminium and uPVC windows and doors
• Reading and following production drawings and specifications
• Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling window and door components
• Fitting glazing, hardware and other components
• Operating fabrication machinery, equipment and hand tools safely
• Completing quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Identifying and reporting defects, material issues or equipment faults
• Working safely and following all production procedures
• Keeping your work area clean and organised
• Working with the wider team to meet production requirements
• Supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation
