Job summary

William Wilson, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting an Operations Assistant for Inverurie. You will provide materials to customers, check goods-in against delivery notes, and assist in all branch operations.

You will drive a van locally when needed, hold a full UK driving licence, and be a team player eager to learn. 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30-5, with 1/3 Saturday rota; permanent role.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Prior warehouse experience.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Providing a high level of customer service by supplying the correct materials.
• Checking goods-in are correctly delivered against delivery notes and goods are booked in on the system then put away accurately and safely.
• Accurately picking and labelling goods booked out to customers and other branches using the system ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed.
• Deputising for the Operations Supervisor or Manager as required.
• Driving a van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area when the main driver is off e.g. holiday cover.
