Job summary

Radius is seeking an Operations Assistant within the Finance department to oversee daily processes and improve operational efficiency. The role focuses on handling high volumes of data, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong internal/external relationships.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, manage workload priorities and deliver timely outputs while upholding a high standard of attention to detail and service quality.

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience reconciling large datasets and handling high volumes of transactional data.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Excellent attention to detail and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively following set processes.
  • Strong judgement, customer service mindset and willingness to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end operational processes for multiple products.
  • Import, process and validate high volumes of transactional data.
  • Address data challenges to enable timely customer invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Perform daily and weekly volume reconciliations and trend analysis.
  • Produce high-quality outputs on time and maintain process documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth business processes.

Job Description

The Finance department has an opportunity within the Operations team for an Operations Assistant to oversee an area of the group’s operational processes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the department run smoothly by ensuring that systems and processes are used effectively to maximise efficiency, with an ongoing focus on continuous development. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritise a busy workload in order to meet challenging deadlines.

Typical Work Activities Include
  • Responsibility for the end-to-end Operational processes for multiple products
  • Importing, processing and validating high volumes of transactional data
  • Proactively dealing with any transactional data challenges which prevent transactions being made available for customer invoicing
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external contacts
  • Daily and weekly volume reconciliations & trend analysis
  • Producing high quality, accurate outputs on a consistent & timely basis
  • Working closely with all other departments to ensure a smooth business process
  • Maintenance of processes and procedures
  • Continuously working to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the department
  • Identifying areas for improvement and associated benefits
  • Measure and manage performance against internal service levels
  • Identify areas of underperformance and elevate to management to ensure swift action
  • Investigation and quick resolutions to queries
Qualifications
Experience/Skills Required
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and keep to deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise work
  • Strong reconciliation capabilities and experience of dealing with large data
  • Excellent Excel skills – including experience of creating and using Pivot Tables and V-Look Up (training will be provided where necessary)
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to work individually (with set processes and procedures) and collaboratively
  • Strong judgement and decision making skills
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm towards work
  • Strong commitment to providing the very best customer service
