Job description

Movie Makers has been serving the film & TV industry in the UK as specialists in providing location facility vehicles, as well as supporting major music events. Now the biggest company of its kind in the UK, our extensive fleet and experienced staff deliver unrivalled service. We stock a large selection of Fifth Wheel and Travel Trailers from leading American RV manufacturers.

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Assistant for our Operations & Transport department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various operational tasks, including:

Key responsibilities
  1. Updating the internal diary system with daily movements
  2. Allocating vehicles and personnel
  3. Recording daily HOD calls on Excel spreadsheets
  4. Following up on stock and requirements with various departments
  5. Providing customer service via calls, emails, and spreadsheet updates
  6. Completing administrative work and filing
  7. Briefing and dispatching drivers, and conducting legal checks on drivers
  8. Supporting a team with previous experience in operations and logistics
  9. Working well under pressure and multi-tasking
  10. Possessing a Class One HGV license (preferred)
  11. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and spreadsheets
  12. Being resourceful, organized, and proactive with a can-do attitude
  13. Working in a fast-paced, niche industry
  14. Opportunities for progression and development within the company

Candidate Experience
