Job summary

Pilgrim'S Europe is seeking an Operations Area Leader for the Frozen Packing department in Dungannon. The role reports to the Operations Team Lead and manages production activities, leads teams, and drives targets while upholding quality, food safety, and health & safety standards.

The position offers a permanent opportunity with a rotating Team B shift (6:00am–6:00pm). Strong English and numeracy skills, plus at least 12 months in food manufacturing, are required.

• Minimum 12 months' experience within food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organise production operations to achieve packing plans and targets.
• Manage labour allocation and break schedules to maximise efficiency.
• Monitor line performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure quality, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained.
• Train and develop team members to meet operational requirements.
• Communicate effectively with production teams and management.
• Complete KPI reporting and lead daily performance meetings.
• Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture.
