A global, large AUM fixed income/credit hedge fund, launching a London office in H2 2025, is looking to hire an operations analyst.
Reporting to the HOO and supporting the London COO, the role involves a broad remit across traditional operations, trader assistance, and P&L/risk reporting. There is a strong emphasis on project work, including office buildout and the firm’s focus on ‘operational alpha’ (automation). The candidate can develop coding skills, specifically Python, to a high standard in this role.
This is a highly visible, autonomous role in a high-profile launch with significant development and progression prospects, including potential international moves.
Candidates should currently be working as an operations or middle office analyst at a hedge fund, with a strong fixed income/credit background. Given the focus on automation, existing coding skills and a desire to further develop them are essential.
The compensation package for the first year is £100-150k total, with performance-based variable pay and potential for significant year-on-year growth.
