Escode’s Escrow Verification Services serve as a crucial quality control mechanism, confirming the completeness and usability of deposited code as stipulated in the escrow agreement. This verification process provides investors with confidence that their investments are backed by high-quality, usable code, thereby minimizing the risk of financial loss due to software dependencies.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform integrity testing of Escode deposits (a process of basic validation) to ensure the contents are virus-free and accessible, in line with operational level agreements.
  2. Perform accurate updates to the relevant business systems following the integrity testing of a given Escode deposit.
  3. Where issues are discovered with a given Escode deposit, it is the responsibility of the Operations Analyst to ensure all details are accurately logged and followed-up on within department SLAs.
  4. Liaise with contracted parties and internal departments to address any issues which may arise during the material depositing process (such as export controls, ITAR, personal data, incomplete deposits etc.).
  5. Liaise with the Escode Legal team on any applicable matters relating to sensitive data or compliance/regulatory requirements.
  6. Perform Verification exercises which are within the skillset of the individual Operations Analyst.
  7. Produce and issue Integrity Test/Verification reports, ensuring all documentation meets the required accredited standards.
  8. Liaise with contracted parties to address any questions relating to a given Integrity Test/Verification.
  9. Liaise with finance/invoicing teams to ensure invoices are raised for any chargeable work.
  10. Provide first-line and administrative support to assist with the deposit process through the appropriate depositing platform.
  11. Handling of requests to release or destroy deposits with the Deposit Operations team, in line with company policy and legal contracts.
  12. Handling of inbound customer queries including but not limited to deposit records, contract amendments and issues regarding depositing platforms.
  13. Participate in both internal and external audits, as and when required.
  14. Assist with various administrative processes related to Escode depositing and Verification.
  15. Participate in, and provide input to, the training required to fulfill the role in a continually developing technical landscape.
  16. Carry out reasonable requests from management to the best of their abilities beyond the above responsibilities.
  17. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in key responsibilities.
  18. Be a confident, clear communicator, both written and verbal.
  19. Exhibit excellent time management skills, constantly assessing priorities and making sensible decisions.
  20. Have knowledge and experience working with common, modern operating systems.
  21. Understand virtualization, with a focus on VMware.
  22. Be educated to A-Level/Degree level in IT, computing, or a relevant discipline.
  23. Experience with Salesforce.
  24. Basic understanding of public-cloud providers like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  25. Basic programming experience with knowledge of common languages (SQL, C/C++/C# etc.).
  26. Understanding of various software development lifecycle models.
