Job description

Job Details

You will support the Operations Management team by analysing operational and inventory data, identifying trends and inefficiencies, and helping drive smarter decision-making across the business.

You will work closely with Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Planning, and Service Delivery teams to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will also contribute to transformation projects, including the optimisation and adoption of AI tools and technologies across operations.

This is a hands‑on analytical role where attention to detail really matters – but equally important is the ability to communicate insights clearly and influence positive change.

What you will be doing
  • Analysing operational and inventory data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Producing accurate daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting
  • Monitoring stock accuracy, stock movement, ageing inventory, and warehouse performance
  • Supporting inventory control activities including reconciliations, variance investigations, and cycle counts
  • Developing dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, BI tools, or ERP systems
  • Supporting operational improvement and transformation projects across logistics and supply chain functions
  • Working with cross‑functional teams to improve efficiency, cost control, and customer outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, reporting standards, and operational controls
  • Supporting process mapping, workflow optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives

A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one‑hour lunch break. This role also offers flexibility to work from home, typically two days per week for a five‑day working week.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Experience in a logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain analytical role
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, and data modelling
  • Good understanding of logistics and supply chain KPIs
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and BI tools would be beneficial
  • Experience supporting multi‑site operations would be advantageous

We value candidates with AI literacy – individuals who are curious about technology, comfortable exploring automation, and eager to contribute to a modern, forward‑thinking business.
