This role is based at our Ipswich office where we can offer hybrid working (after training) and parking onsite!

How you'll make an impact

  • Strategy and Growth:Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement BU plans aligned with Gallagher Re Senior Management's strategic vision. Ensure the BU has robust financial support for managing sales, pipelines, and analysis.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor business revenue recognition, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in line with Group Revenue Recognition Policies. Provide insights on financial variances and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Operations Governance, Compliance, and Control:Support smooth reporting operations to the BU Management Board, ensuring compliance with regulatory timelines and local regulations. Prepare and distribute reports to leadership, including revenue, cost, and sales pipeline analysis.
  • Collaborator Engagement: Build positive relationships with internal and external collaborators to uphold high servicing standards. Collaborate across segments, lines of business, and regions to achieve operational excellence.

About You

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent.
  • Preferred knowledge of (Re)Insurance products and services.
  • Experience within an operations team is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft platforms (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong understanding of financial landscapes.
  • Proficient in communication with a range of partners.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritise workloads with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborator who excels both independently and in a team setting.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
