OPERATIONAL TEAM LEADER

We are looking for an experienced and engaged Paramedic to join our operational leadership team at Brighton.
The successful applicant will be a keen problem solver, a caring individual, and dedicated to providing compassionate leadership to our frontline teams.
To apply, you must have successfully completed a minimum of two years as a practicing Experienced Paramedic at Band 6 by the advert closing date.
You should have the passion and drive to support your team in delivering the highest levels of patient care and clinical safety.
Interviews will be held over two days. If shortlisted, you will be required to attend an EPRR assessment on Monday, 14th July. Only if successful will you be invited to the second interview on Thursday, 24th July.
Main duties of the job
We seek highly motivated, operationally focused HCPC registered clinicians who wish to develop and lead an effective operational team. This includes ensuring the delivery of clinical and non-clinical KPIs at Brighton.
Operational Team Leaders will provide effective leadership, clinical and management support, maintain staff welfare, support personal development, and review performance.
You will also perform Operational Command duties, including managing large-scale and major incidents.
You will act as a line manager for operational staff, providing support, welfare, and development.

This role requires excellent communication skills, flexibility, and high personal organization to prioritize effectively and handle various issues. You must be an excellent problem solver, demonstrating flexibility in adapting to the Trust's changing priorities.
The salary range is aligned with Agenda for Change pay scales. Successful applicants will be placed at the bottom of the band unless relevant NHS or equivalent experience is demonstrated.
Following legislation revisions regarding COVID-19 vaccination, we recommend that new starters in patient-facing roles are vaccinated unless medically exempt, to protect frontline staff. We will seek vaccination status information from successful applicants.
All positions require a DBS check appropriate to the role, which may be basic, standard, or enhanced. Details will be outlined in the conditional offer.
