Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking an admin-focused role within the Youth Offending Service to support operational managers, case managers and support officers. In our Professional Support Service, you'll play a vital role, supporting Children’s Services on an administrative basis. You'll contribute significantly to Children’s Services, ensuring positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families. The post will be based in the Youth Offending Service.

The Youth Offending Service is a rewarding and exciting area to work in; where you will be part of a close-knit team ensuring the child’s journey within Children’s Services is the best it can be.

What is the job role?

In this role you will be supporting Operational Managers, Case Managers and Support Officers with a whole range of tasks, including supporting with reports, minuting meetings, data entry and updating case management systems, and answering phone calls.

All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

The working hours are going to be:

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
