Job summary

M&G plc is seeking an Operational Risk Framework Manager to design, maintain and continuously improve the group-wide operational risk framework. You will partner with senior stakeholders, lead a specialist team and ensure alignment with the Group Risk Management Policy and Taxonomy.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing, enhancing and embedding Operational Risk Management Frameworks in a regulated financial services environment.
• Ability to translate complex rules into practical solutions for business problems.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, maintenance and enhancement of group-wide Operational Risk Standards and guidance.
• Ensure alignment with Group Risk Management Policy and Taxonomy.
• Own risk framework training and coordinate communications to Risk and Control Community.
• Develop operational risk elements of Group Risk Taxonomy and Risk Appetite Framework with senior stakeholders.
• Translate methodologies into clear business requirements and support their implementation.
• Present updates at Committees and Forums as required.
• Foster a high-performing team and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure alignment of people, processes and team structures with future Non-Financial Risk needs.
• Ensure compliance with people policies and Code of Conduct.
