Job summary

Danos Group is recruiting a Director-level Operational Risk professional to lead the UK risk program within a Global Financial Markets context. You will design and enhance the firm's operational risk framework and partner with the Global Head of ERM and UK Head of Risk to drive risk governance.

The role requires senior-level financial services experience, strong FCA interaction, and deep knowledge of risk reporting and resilience frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating at a senior level within a complex financial services business.
• Direct experience dealing with the FCA and regulatory expectations.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, RCSA, and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, oversight and continuous improvement of the operational risk framework for the UK.
• Collaborate with Global Head of ERM and UK Head of Risk to shape the risk program.
• Lead risk assessments, reporting, and escalation of key risk indicators across the UK.
• Represent risk governance in internal and external risk discussions and audits.

Currently recruiting on behalf of a Global Financial Markets firm, who are looking to recruit a Director level Operational Risk professional to lead the UK Risk agenda. You will be responsible for the design, oversight and continuous improvement of the firms operational risk framework, and will work closely with the Global Head of ERM and UK Head of Risk. You should have had significant experience operating at a senior level within a financial services firm, as well has having direct experience of dealing with the FCA.

Key Experience:

• Experience of operating at a senior level within a complex financial services business
• Experience of dealing with the FCA
• Strong regulatory knowledge, specifically around DORA and third party risk management
• Demonstrable experience of building risk frameworks
• Knowledge of RCSA's, operational resilience and risk reporting
