Job summary

West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking an Operational Risk Management Team Administrator to support the collection and processing of risk information. The role involves working with databases, spreadsheets, and multiple software tools to assist managers in delivering high-quality service.

You will contribute to risk information systems, organise meetings, and promote consistent data collection across all levels.

Qualifications

• Experience of database administration.
• Technical experience with databases and IT applications.
• Proficient use of MS Office and other IT tools.
• Ability to solve a variety of work-related problems.
• Experience meeting deadlines with conflicting demands.
• Experience adapting information to the organisation's needs.
• Clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and process information through databases, spreadsheets and software.
• Handle enquiries from internal and external parties and support managers.
• Support the implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
• Organise training sessions, briefings and departmental meetings, including minutes.
• Provide guidance on risk information gathering and recording processes.
• Ensure consistent and accurate data collection across all levels.
