Job summary

Kroo Bank is seeking an Operational Risk professional to support first and second line risk management across the bank. You will help identify and assess risks, strengthen controls, and develop robust risk policies to protect customers and the business.

The role includes coordinating risk events, conducting assessments, and preparing management information for senior stakeholders. Hybrid working in London or Manchester, with London office near London Bridge.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in operational risk, risk management, internal controls or related assurance role.

Responsibilities

• Support business areas in identifying and assessing operational risks, helping them understand responsibilities and maintain effective controls.
• Conduct operational risk assessments and reviews, identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Help develop, maintain and implement operational risk policies and procedures.
• Support the risk and control self assessment (RCSA) process with oversight and challenge of risk assessments, controls and action plans.
• Coordinate risk events and issues process with accurate records, clear owners and monitored progress.
• Review risk events to identify recurring themes and opportunities to prevent incidents.
• Plan and carry out testing to assess control design and operation, and monitor key risk indicators.
