Job summary

Kroo Bank is seeking an Operational Risk Analyst in Manchester or London to strengthen our risk framework and support a culture of risk awareness across the bank.

You will report to the Operational Risk Manager in 2LOD, advising teams on risk and controls, developing risk metrics, and producing regular reporting for senior management and the Board. The role combines hybrid working with weekly office presence in Manchester.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational risk, risk management or related assurance roles.
• Understanding of 2LOD roles and regulatory environment for UK banks.
• Ability to turn risk data into clear management information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Kroo's operational risk framework.
• Advise and challenge teams on risks and controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and monitor control weaknesses.
• Support RCSA process and action plans.
• Coordinate risk events and issue records.
• Review risk events to identify themes and improvements.
• Plan testing and monitoring of controls.
• Prepare management information for senior stakeholders.
• Produce monthly and quarterly risk reporting.
• Collaborate across the bank to improve risk awareness.
