Job summary

Monzo Bank Limited is seeking a skilled professional to lead identification and review of Important Business Services and map dependencies across people, processes, technology, facilities, and third parties.

You will support monitoring of Impact Tolerances, coordinate scenario tests with cross-functional teams, and contribute to risk committees.

This role requires strong regulatory knowledge and hands-on experience in resilience, continuity, and incident management within UK financial services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an operational resilience, business continuity, or operational risk execution role within UK financial services.
• Strong practical understanding of UK regulatory frameworks (PRA/FCA operational resilience rules).
• Familiarity with ICAAP operational risk components.
• Hands-on experience executing dependency mapping.
• Experience updating business continuity plans.
• Experience supporting scenario tests alongside cross-functional teams.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior leadership and risk committees.
• High attention to detail.
• Hands-on approach to tracking operational metrics, actions, and regulatory deliverables.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute identification and review of Monzo Bank Limited’s Important Business Services and map dependencies across people, processes, technology, facilities, and third parties
• Support monitoring and tracking of Impact Tolerances, collect metrics, and flag potential breaches
• Support entity-specific scenario tests for severe but plausible disruptions
• Coordinate participation in wider multi-entity global stress tests
• Coordinate operational inputs into ICAAP and map disruption scenarios to capital/liquidity implications
• Coordinate Business Continuity Planning and testing
• Assist business areas in maintaining, updating, and testing response plans
• Support the Global Operational Resilience Forum and provide inputs into MBL Risk Committees
• Assist business areas with applying resilience, continuity, and incident management policies
