Job summary

JSS is hiring an Operational Resilience Manager to design, embed and mature the resilience framework across the Retail division. You will report to the Board and drive scenario testing, governance, and MI to ensure critical services stay within impact tolerance.

London-based role with largely remote work and some travel to UK offices. Experience in UK financial services and regulatory requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational resilience within UK regulated financial services.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and governance.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the operational resilience framework, policy and strategy across the Retail division.
• Support Important Business Service owners with mapping, tracking, MI and governance reporting.
• Run annual scenario testing, including physical and desktop exercises, and chair the remediation working group for open vulnerabilities.
• Lead the annual self-assessment to the Board.
• Challenge new and changing products, processes and IT services from a resilience perspective, acting as the go-to SME.

What you’ll need

• Operational resilience experience within UK regulated financial services, with strong knowledge of the regulatory environment
• Proven ability to understand complex end-to-end processes, including technology, servicing and customer impacts
• Strong project leadership and the influencing skills to build relationships at every level of the business
