Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Operational/MHE Trainer to join our East Midlands operation and help develop colleagues, promote safe working practices, and ensure high standards of MHE operation across the site.

Atypical day involves delivering training on Reach Truck, Counterbalance and other equipment, conducting refresher courses, assessing competency, and supporting audits and inductions to drive safety and performance.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience delivering MHE training in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Accredited MHE Instructor qualification (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and health & safety requirements.
• Experience training on Reach Truck and Counterbalance equipment as a minimum.

Responsibilities

• Delivering MHE training on a range of equipment including Reach Truck, Counterbalance, PPT, LLOP and other site-specific equipment.
• Conducting refresher training, familiarisation training, and conversion courses.
• Assessing operator competency and maintaining accurate training records.
• Supporting site compliance through regular audits and observations.
• Investigating MHE-related incidents and identifying training requirements.
• Coaching and developing colleagues to improve performance and safety standards.
• Supporting site inductions and other operational training activities when required.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Working 4 on, 4 off - 6:30pm-6:30am
Location: East Midlands Gateway - Derby

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience delivering MHE training within a warehouse or logistics environment
