Job summary

Morrisons is offering a two‑year graduate scheme across UK manufacturing sites. You will rotate through areas of manufacturing to learn processes, drive improvements, and develop leadership capabilities. You’ll lead live projects, manage production lines, and coordinate the product lifecycle from field to store.

The program aims to develop future Shift Managers capable of leading teams up to 50 people, with progression into management roles and ongoing mentoring and learning support.

Qualifications

• 2:2 in any degree subject is required.

What’s involved?

Throughout the 2-year scheme, you’ll work across our different manufacturing sites where you’ll be able to experience every aspect of the manufacturing of our top-quality products. You’ll help us drive efficiencies and innovation in a fast-paced environment. Your time will be spent gaining knowledge on the manufacturing process along with an understanding of how to be a successful leader. Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:

• Working on exciting live projects to help simplify and improve our manufacturing processes
• Managing factory teams and production lines
• Coordinating the product lifecycle: from field, to factory, to one of our stores

By the end of the programme, you will have the experience and skills needed to progress into the role of a Shift Manager and lead your own team of up to 50 people. If you’ve got the leadership skills and drive to make things happen, then you could progress to join our management team and gain a wealth of experience across the business.

What you’ll need to join us

You’ll need to be a great communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse team of people. Candidates require a minimum 2:2 in any degree subject but it would be ideal if you had an agricultural interest or a passion for farming! Other key qualities we’d like to see include:

• A drive to succeed and constantly improve
