Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University is seeking an Operational Inpatient Manager (Band 8a) based in Radlett. The post holder will oversee the operational management of adult inpatient services across the Trust, working with the Service Line lead to allocate, deploy, prioritise and deliver inpatient care within agreed frameworks.

The role includes line management of Band 7 Team Leads on each ward and implementing and reviewing systems, policies and procedures to ensure high quality services.

Job description

Main duties of the job The post holder has responsibility for the operational management of adult inpatient services across the Trust. The post holder is responsible, with the Service Line lead, for the allocation, deployment, prioritisation and delivery of in-patient services, for implementing and reviewing systems, policies, standards and procedures that ensure the provision of high quality services within frameworks agreed by the Trust. The post holder will be required to line manage the Band 7 Team Leads on each ward.
