Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is offering an internship at Brize Norton for a student passionate about organizational management and governance. You will support the Operational Excellence team with data collection, project coordination, and analytics to align Airbus objectives with UK MoD needs.

You will work on governance, data-driven improvements and end-to-end CI initiatives, contributing to a major defense contract while developing professional skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Open to Undergraduates for the whole duration of the placement.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft tools for editing, preparing presentations, analyzing data, and creating charts is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Support to Leadership: assist in communications between Airbus and MoD, prepare briefing packs, reports and meeting documentation, ensure improvements align with customer requirements and QMS standards.
• Transformation & Project Coordination: support governance by tracking milestones and resource optimization, develop engagement materials and support cultural adoption.
• Operational Excellence & Data Analytics: support rollout of the Airbus Operational Excellence System, facilitate Lean activities, monitor data for benefit realization, own a CI initiative.

Education

Undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
