Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland invites motivated placement students to join the Operational Excellence (OPEX) team at our flagship dairy in Droitwich. Over 13 months, you will engage in real improvement projects, learn Lean, Six Sigma, data analysis and change management in a leading FMCG environment.

Working with Site Leadership and the Central OPEX community, you will deliver efficiency gains, reduce waste and develop leadership and coaching skills for a future career in manufacturing or operations.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK; UK residency required (not sponsorship).
• Full UK driving licence held for at least one year.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills essential.
• Experience in Operational Excellence principles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional collaboration with site leadership to deliver improvement projects.
• Support delivery of the Operational Excellence roadmap on site.
• Analyze operational data to spot improvement opportunities.
• Participate in structured problem-solving using Six Sigma methods.
• Assist in Lean/TPM deployment and change management activities.
• Develop project planning, budgeting and stakeholder engagement skills.
