We seek to appoint a passionate, experienced, and committed Practice Leader with a focus on outcomes for children and young people, high practice standards, and excellent service delivery. The role involves managing safeguarding, child in need and protection work, care proceedings, corporate parenting, and youth justice services. You will value, motivate, and develop our workforce to ensure high standards and quality care.
You will need to engage positively with community, voluntary, and statutory partners, especially as we implement new Children’s Social Care Reforms. Strong senior leadership, risk management, case decision-making, strategic development, and advisory skills are essential. You will also demonstrate efficiency and value for money across services.
Qualifications required include a professional Social Work qualification (CQSW, DipSW, CCETSW) registered with Social Work England.
